One Day One Roll (twice) | May 2020

Well, I missed my deadline for the blog circle and never did post my May One Day One Roll! I actually ended up doing it twice, but they are related, so I’m going to post them both. So, really this is part of four rolls! How’s that for cheating??

First, I took my son’s senior portraits. I literally only took one medium format roll of Portra 800 in my Pentax, well, and then finished off a roll of TriX in my 35mm camera that had a few left. SO different than the 4-5 rolls I take of other seniors! Turns out, one roll actually gets the job done just fine. Next, for my more “true” One Day One Roll, I used some TriX 120 in my Pentax and documented that same son’s actual graduation and family celebration. I felt like it was such an interesting time to document, since this graduation ceremony was unique with the pandemic still looming over us, so I shot two rolls. What a strange time to be alive!! So, here is my son Jefferson in his last days as a High Schooler!
