Provo Family Sunrise Session {American Fork Canyon} | Utah Family Photographer
When I suggest sunrise to ANY family wanting a Families in the Sun session, I expect an immediate “not going to happen.” A family of nine with kids ages 5-19? Yeah, I knew that was going to be a long shot. But friends, not only did this family take the challenge, and drive 45 minutes for a 6:30 a.m. session, but they did it like TOTAL PROs. Not a grumpy face to be seen in this bunch. They were fun and creative and they followed my NUMBER ONE RULE, which is “You are not allowed to hate this.” I feel like if people aren’t having fun, I’m just not doing my job right. Nonetheless, I’m sure there were a few of them who would rather have been elsewhere, and they just never let it show. Ever. Seriously, best sports ever.
Well, we had way TOO much fun, and after a pretty long session for ANY age of family, they had to run and I didn’t get their picture by their family van, which would have been super super cool. :/ But you know what, we got plenty of magic as is, wouldn’t you say?
Anyone else up for a sunrise session? As you can probably tell, Tibble Fork Reservoir is my favorite location for sunrises, but they are pretty amazing anywhere.
